Looking for a tool that will help you to really easily create and share content for your social networks, keep them active and engaging, and build up your own online influence and authority?
Need something to build your online visibility, following the demise of SEO?
If so, you’re in luck.
vWriter.com has recently launched a raft of exciting, major updates that turn it into a fully-fledged social media management tool. They make managing multiple social networks for your business easier than ever.
Here are just a few highlights …
A new, crisper, sharper, easier-to-use, more powerful interface, including the following features:
- A left-hand draggable menu containing links to the main functionality for instant usage. For example, drag an icon for one of your social profiles from the menu onto a post to add it to the networks where the post will be published. Or just click it to add/remove …
- Dynamic tours of most pages to guide you around the main functionality, so you can get started quickly.
- Drag and drop functionality for powerful publishing control, such as dragging images onto a page for inclusion in a post, or dragging a content item from a feed onto a social profile to create a post you can then quickly edit and publish.
- All times and dates shown in your local time zone for maximum control and usability.
Publication streams enable you to keep tabs on all the content flowing to your social profiles, without needing to log into multiple different social networks.
Powerful controls enable you to do things like:
- Cross-post between profiles. Just drag a post from a stream and drop it on another profile to create a post you can then edit and publish as you wish. Images are automatically carried over too.
- Reply, Retweet and Favorite for Tweets;
and for Facebook posts, Like and Comment on posts and other comments. Pick the profile you want to take the action ‘with’. For example, you could retweet from another Twitter profile in your account; or reply to a Facebook comment on your Facebook Page using your personal Facebook profile – all from within vWriter.com. You can even schedule your retweets, just like any other post.
Publishing Time Windows
For each of your social profiles, enter time windows (in your own local time zone) when your audience is likely to be most active and engaged.
This means the content you post achieves maximum visibility, by reaching your community when they’re online and checking the latest updates.
To boost your visibility further, vWriter.com automatically shuffles your posts to space them out as evenly as possible within the time windows you’ve set up.
This avoids a bunch of messages all going out at the same time which would otherwise decrease the attention each one may receive – as well as potentially annoy your audience.
The only time we don’t do this is where you have explicitly set a publication time for the post. For example, you may have an exact time of day where you want a specific post to be published, and the system fully enables you to do this.
Either create a new post manually, or have posts auto-created for you via our publishing channel functionality (see below).
vWriter.com supports multiple profiles, with separate profile scheduling capabilities. In other words, you can create a post, whether manually or automatically through a publishing channel, and have it published to multiple social profiles, each with separate publishing times.
Images can be dragged and dropped onto the page, uploaded, or you can input links to images you want to include.
Links can be shortened via bit.ly through a simple click of the mouse, and you’ll see a Facebook-style preview of the link.
Previously referred to as Content Marketing Machines, publishing channels enable you to publish fresh content to your social profiles, on a long-term, recurring, regular basis.
And once it’s set up, your social profiles are kept active and engaging, all without you having to lift a finger.
With an improved interface, publishing channels are now easier to set up and use than before. You can set up an unlimited number of such channels in your account.
Simply set a source as the basis of the content to be created (eg. a RSS feed, one of vWriter.com’s curated content feeds – see below, a Bulk Data Feed, and so on), and use filtering controls to control the content that comes through. For the output, add one or more social profiles where you want content to be posted to, and apply various settings such as content length, hashtags you want to be included, additional text, and so on.
Creating and sharing content has never been easier!
Done-For-You Curated Content
One of the biggest social media time-drains can be curating suitable content to share with your followers. With vWriter.com’s curated content feeds, you no longer have to.
Hundreds of content items are searched through on a daily basis from sites across the web, bringing you the best, most engaging content to share with your fans and followers.
We locate and publish at least 25 new items a day, and provide a main content feed for use within your account, as well as five smaller feeds based on category.
You can either hook such a feed up with a publishing channel (see above), or access the feed directly and create a new post by simply dragging and dropping a content item onto a profile. A post is automatically created based on the original content item ready for you to quickly edit and schedule for publication (including adding additional profiles if you wish).
Note: You may not always want exactly the same content to hit each of your social profiles. WIth that in mind, vWriter.com allows you to quickly and easily duplicate a post, tweak as required, add the profile you want to publish to, and publish.
Need others to help manage your account for you?
No problem. You can add users (eg. employees or outsourcers) to your account known as Team Members, and assign relevant permissions to them so they can only do what you want them to.
You can even restrict them to certain projects only in your account. For example, you may have different projects for different clients and/or websites, each with its own set of profiles, publishing channels, and so on.
It’s all made very easy with vWriter.com, and you retain full control over your users including the ability to suspend access at any time.
In addition to Twitter, Facebook and Facebook Pages, vWriter.com now also supports LinkedIn and LinkedIn Company Pages.
But that’s not all …
The above represents just some of what vWriter.com now allows you to do. For a listing of all the functionality available to vWriter.com users, click here – or grab an account if you haven’t already done so and experience it for yourself.
